Gary Lock is a professional composer and musician and owner of the somemusic record label.

Best known for his solo work, Gary has gained a reputation for writing 'spiritual' music of great beauty.

Gary opened the somemusic record label in 2001 and has to date released 5 albums two of which where guided meditation CDs in partnership with Crystal Green.

"I have written music since I was a child and tend to record whatever inspiration brings to me. My role as a composer is to capture as accurately as possible the tunes and arrangements that come into my consciousness. The only purpose in doing this is to share these tunes and the emotions they convey with you. I hope that you will enjoy listening to my music."

The CD Albums 'Corryhabbie', 'Cairnacay' and 'The Calm' by Gary Lock are the first three parts of the somemusic Spectrum Collection. Future CD albums released by Gary will also become part of the Collection. The Spectrum Collection will include a range of musical genres and styles being Celtic, relaxation/meditation and music for the healing arts.
